Q: WHAT IS PIES ASSISTANT USED FOR?

PIES xml files can be very large, sometimes in excess of 1GB. This makes it very difficult to look at the file and verify it before you send it out. PIES Assistant allows you to view and navigate through the xml file and verify that all of the required information, for any specific receiver, is in the file.

Q: DO WE NEED AN AUTOCARE SUBSCRIPTION?

No. The PIES xsd (xml specification) is public domain and availble on AutoCare's website.

Q: DO WE NEED A DATABASE SERVER?

No, no database is required.
